Alisha Ard

● Bachelors of Music in Trombone Performance Brigham, Young University.

● Masters of Music in Trombone Performance, Brigham Young University.

● Performed trombone in every instrumental ensemble at BYU including many years with Synthesis BYU’s premiere jazz band.

● Sang in BYU’s Vocal Jazz Choir under local jazz piano legend Bob Baily.

● Soloed both as a vocalist and on trombone in Finland, Russia and Ukraine, for a two-week engagement in Nauvoo Illinois, and at International Association for Jazz Educators (IAJE) Conventions in Anaheim, Long Beach, New York City, and Toronto, Canada.

● Appeared with many local groups at various venues including the Park City Jazz Festival, Salt Lake City’s First Night Celebration, the Delta Center, and the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.
