● His true love (other than his wife) is playing jazz.

● Performed in BYU’s premier big band Synthesis.

● Performed at Salt Lake Jazz Festival.

● Performed at the Jazz at the Bird Series.

● Performed at over 100 weddings, parties, and banquets over the past four years, primarily in small group settings.

● Studied with Audrey Bush (former principal bass of the Utah Symphony for 35 years), Walt Birkedahl, and Eric Hansen.

● Has played bass for 15 years.
